Our story actually begins with a dream and somewhat of a plan to get there. We are planning to sell our house in the next few years, retire, buy an RV and travel.
So today begins the journaling of our dream. But until then we still do lots of fun things, taking pictures of places we go and of things we do, things we want to remember. So that's the reason to begin the blog now, to journal our dreams and plan and journal the fun we have now, and share it with our family.
When we first got married we would talk about getting an RV sometime in the future and travel around. But back then it seemed so far away. Now that is hopefully just a little over 5 years away. With Molly living in North Carolina now, the thought of just seeing her for a couple weeks a year just isn't working for us. But we have Jake and the whole family here. The solution is simple to us...RV! That way we can spend time here, there and see the US in between.
I (Alice) tend to be a bit impatient! Once I make my decision I want to just do it. Also I just miss my girl. So I hope that this journal will help me to focus on enjoying the journey rather than just look to the goal itself. And so this blog begins.
